On Friday, 16th November 2012, CNTS –Senegal held its 2nd youth conference prior to their 10th delegates’ congress.
The theme of the conference was ‘The CNTS amidst the youth employment crises’.
ITUC-Africa was honored to be part of a panel organized at this conference. The panel was composed of representatives from the International labor Organisation – Dakar office, the employers association as well as leaders from the national unions.
The energy from this youth conference was beyond believable with over 200 participants actively involved. A very organized election process saw the election of the new committee members.
Indeed, the future of the trade union movement is truly bright with such dynamism.
