Does the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCTA) uphold Worker’s rights?

n 2012, the African Union Summit took a pivotal decision to establish the AfCFTA by 2017. In the month of June 2015, the African leaders launched its negotiations. Subsequently, at an extraordinary Summit of the Africa Union that was held on the 21st March 2018 in Kigali Rwanda, the AfCFTA was adopted and signed by 44 member countries. The AfCFTA ultimately entered into force on 30th of May 2019 after the deposit of the 22nd instrument of ratification by the Saharawi Republic to the African Union Commissioner for Trade and Industry
