We congratulate your colleague National Office Bearers also for their election and express our profound appreciation for the achievement of gender parity of 50-50 among the six NOBs of your giant Federation.
The emergence of a woman President and the attainment of equal representation for women and men at the highest level of COSATU leadership is a victory for trade union democracy and an inspiration for the entire African trade union movement.
