Madagascar; Unionization in the companies has the wind in its sails.

The evaluation of the first year of implementation of the program of unionization in the EPZ, conducted with the Malagasy unions, the ITUC and ITUC Africa, concludes that the four unions SEKRIMA, FISEMA, USAM FMM have almost doubled the number of workers in the affiliated enterprises with 4483 new members (more than half are women and youth).
Congratulations comrades.

Moreover, with the support of Joseph Toé, in charge of organizing at ITUC-Africa, they requested the ILO to make every effort to resume negotiations around the EPZ tripartite collective agreement.
