Keywords : Solidarity Letters Tunisia

Dear Brother General Secretary,

It is with shock and dismay that we heard the news about the bloody attack that hit the
Tunisian capital on 18th March, killing 23 people and injuring many others.

Message in PDF

In this time of deep sorrow for the afflicted people of Tunisia, we would like to offer
our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims and all the people of
Tunisia.

This attack, which targeted innocent civilians, is a vicious violation of the human and
democratic values.

Considering the tremendous efforts that you have made and still continue to make for
transition to democracy to materialize in Tunisia and the rest of North Africa, we would
like to reaffirm our unwavering support to you.
At this difficult time, please convey our message of solidarity to the families of the
victims, the whole UGTT family and all the people of Tunisia.
We add our support to the efforts made by the Government of Tunisia working with
determination and in a concerted manner to ensure protection and safety for the stability
of Tunisia.

Yours in solidarity

Kwasi Adu-Amankwah

General Secretary
