The curtains fell on Thursday, November 30, 2023, on the 5th Ordinary Delegates Congress of the African Regional Organisation of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC-Africa www.ituc-africa.org) that took place at the Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya, with the theme “Amka Afrika!”- a “clarion call for reawakening in Africa”.

Dear Comrades,

In PDF: Thank you note - Fifth Congress ITUC-Africa

We are confident that the successful convocation of this event will continue to resonate within us over the next four years and beyond. We cannot thank you enough for your presence and contribution to the success of this event. As you know, a new era has begun for our organisation, during which we will translate the theme of our Congress and the resolutions adopted into actions for the benefit of the entire African working class.

Thank you once again for your participation and contribution towards the success of the Congress. In the next two weeks, you will receive the report of Congress, including the list of our newly elected members of the General Council and Women and Youth committees, for your guidance.
We wish you all the best and count on your continued support and collaboration for the continuity of our beloved organisation!

Amka Afrika!

Yours fraternally,
Akhator Joel ODIGIE
General Secretary, ITUC-Africa
